Welcome to my 1969 CHP Polara restoration journal, as work progresses on the car I will post updates. In the journal I only highlight the work with a few pictures and put many more in dated galleries for those who are interested in more details. In addition to working on my cars I do have other interests, one of the being old highways. Gaviota Pass is on US 101 in Santa Barbara County California. Some of these pictures go back over 100 years.

The original air conditioning hose were cleaned up and the fire extinguisher restoration has started. Other parts are being done as well.
