Drip Drip Drip...
Our initially we thought the vent leak might be because I used 5/16" hose and not the correct 1/4" hose so I crawled under the car and swapped the hoses. With the hoses swapped I took the car out and topped the tank and went for a quick drive, returned and parked the car in the garage. A little while later I went out in the garage and saw a big puddle under the car, gas. Right away I started a siphon and dried up the puddle, I grabbed an air hose and crawled under car and blew off the vent hose and fittings and that was when I saw the problem. There was a crack in the soldier joint. | |
