Lip Service
What more is there to say cut grind weld, done, next! Ok I cannot get off that easy. Heck I'm not doing the work so there isn't much to comment on about the challenges or learning. We were limited in the repair to what we had available from the parts car as much has been cut up and tossed. The salvaged piece was put in place and used as a template for the removal, once the damage was cut out everything that could be reached was sanded down, treated and painted. Once the wheel house patch was positioned and welded the outer skin was then fitted. At the end of 2-1/2 hours the repair was pretty much done. | |
