Reflections I ended up using a piece of that crappy trunk panel and later my body guy just used sheet stock. The floor was never going to be seen anyway, its under a mat and bolted down in all four corners with equipment. |
Trunk Assessment Not much to say, I went out to the garage with the idea of better seeing how bad the trunk floor actually is. After taking a sander/grinder to the floor I was able to isolate the problem spots, all the groves were cleared out to double check them and when all was done just the forward portion is damaged along with a few much smaller holes. This still doesn't change the fact that I still need a floor just now I only need to worry about a smaller area of it being good. In reality I might be able to work from the middle or rear portion just the same as the groves are the same (aside from length). | ||
