Reflections I really lucked out with this floor, it was almost scrap metal. For once being a procrastinator paid off. |

Floored
While I look for a trunk floor I might as well move on to the passenger floor. Prior to getting this car I had already acquired a parts car to help with my first Polara. I was already in the process of cutting up the car to make it easier to haul off when got the CHP car so I was lucky in that I still had it, the cowl section was already cut out so I hauled it into the garage and proceeded to drill out 64 sport welds. After removing the panel I still needed to remove some pieces that I chose to cut and not worry about the spot welds, once the bits were cleared I was able to drop the panel into the car. I now need to access the rust damage under the heater box and map out the next set of cuts to start fitting this in. | |
