Reflections Ultimately the trunk floor was in pretty good shape, most of the repair was near the wheelwells. Although the mat was not salvageable it still provided a template for mounting the fire extinguisher, first aid kit and the radio. |

The Inside Scoop
I didn't have much time to put to the car this evening so I worked on clearing more debris out of the trunk. I found it much easier to just fold up the trunk mat and remove the bulk of it. After sweeping up the trunk I spotted another "drain" hole, the rest of the floor looks solid but will not fully know till I after I take a scraper to it. As for the trunk mat, even after hosing it down it was still a mess and there are several big tears in it. | |
