Radiator
The radiator in the car was an aftermarket replacement that was deteriorating and didn't look good. With all the extra effort that has gone into the recent restoration it would have been foolish to use this radiator. I still had the original radiator that suffered a fan strike in 1985 so it was sent off to Glen-ray Radiators for a rebuild. A short time later I received the finished piece and it exceeded all expectations. No time was wasted in getting the radiator installed and the system filled with coolant. After taking care of a few minor leaks the car was ready to fire up, oh wait, I still need a carburetor and my engine builder friend. | |
