Spring Fling 2017 - Saturday
Well we didn't know what the weather was going to be like as it rained overnight, it was a little wet out but not enough to stop us from rolling, car backed out and we hit the road. The show was about 20 miles away and there was some residual precipitation not even enough to need the wipers. At the show the "Out of Service" signs were removed and the show exempt plates put on, I did a basic wipe down but didn't spend a lot of time on it as it wasn't being judged till tomorrow. Cruised the swap and checked out the cars, throughout the day I met up with some friends. Back at the cars we were talking about the stories that the retired officers often tell, one being that they flipped the air cleaner cover over, whereas that may be true they certainly didn't do it on a 69. Ron took his cover and flipped it so we could take some pictures, obviously we couldn't close the hood. | |
