Reflections Getting the frame and engine apart was the major turning point on the project, no more grimy major components. |
Framed With the recent rearrangement of the garage I needed to separate the motor and frame. I only needed to unbolt the transmission mount as both the motor mounts were split. The only parts left were the steering gear, idler and center link, they were soon removed leaving the bare frame. Initially I thought the frame may have been twisted but in further evaluation I found it to only be out by a 1/4" or so. There is a slight buckle on the lower side that is probably from a previous incident, it'll be looked at before being sent out for powder coating. | ||
