Trunk Work
For once it wasn't blocking. Today was about finishing up some things in the trunk, both sides still needed to be dressed where it was welded. This weld line wasn't factory, the gutter channel was spot welded on the horizontal portion and dropped down about a 1/4" but because of rust repair that edge was welded in. Looking at this seam my other car you could hardly see it as it had sealer in it. With those both dressed up the work moved back into the trunk. On both sides the wheelhouse needed to be repaired and left a seam that needed to be cleaned up. | |
