Reflections He was originally hesitant to use the piece from the fender but in the long run it probably saved him time and effort shaping the piece as that panel had a tapper twist to it. |

Forward Ho!
This evening was about finishing up the lower quarter repair. Initially I purchased some additional sheet metal so we could finish this last big repair but it ended up being thinner that what we wanted, so I suggested that we look through the inventory of old body panels that I had in the yard and a fender of the Polara parts car was selected. A piece was cut out, cleaned up and fitted. With that done the panel was mudded up and smoothed. That repair took up most of the time that was available. | |
