One Step Closer
Just a minor update today. Work on the rear window is underway, much of the piece and the area around it in the car were treated for rust which gave me time to fix one last item that needed to be done prior to installing the window section. Earlier when I first removed the rusty rear window I noticed that the trunk hinge support was badly rusted where it is connected to the wheel well and would need to be replaced. The replacement was from the same car that many of the patches came from and was already cut before I even had this car. It does appear that the cut was in a place that leaves me grafting room. Now that I have this one done the other side doesn't look as nice so I'll look at that before I start on the window. Now having a flange tool I was able to set this piece in nice and flush. | |
