First Road Trip
Not even a month after getting the car I'm taking it on its first road trip. This may not be its first trip to Oregon but the first for me with this car. The morning after my first stop I went to open the trunk but something wasn't letting the latch release. I made my way in through the interior by opening the top well liner, I was able to shuffle a few things and open the trunk. The next day I went up to visit a friend in Washington as my brother was working that day. Bumped into a nice Chevroltet truck at a rest stop. On the way home I stopped by the beach with hopes of getting pictures of the car on the beach. When I got there I saw that the sand was dry and turned over, almost guaranteeing getting stuck (off to the side was a car that was stuck). A couple pictures by the sign and on I went. On the last day I took the Avenue of the Giants, I wanted to put the top down but it was cold and likely going to rain. I took a detour through the Napa valley with hopes of finding a place to get a picture of the car next to the vinyards. You think it would be easy, most had fencing, hedges, no where to pull off or the rows were not in an appealing direction. I was able to put the top down for the drive and ultimately found a spot. Put the top up and almost immediately it started raining. | |
