Reflections

Really? Sometimes I still find myself shaking my head over this one, I am still terrified of parking lots, I crawl through them. I can say when this happened I was cool and collected, got their information and double-checked everything.

Two weeks after I get the car back, wham! Some girl backs out of a parking stall right into the drivers' side. No problems here other than the repairs were not great. It was not discovered for several months that the quarter window wouldn't roll down, broken roller. That is also when I noticed that the door wasn't aligning right, I could now see that the quarter had a flat spot and was not contoured like the door.

I continued to use the car as my daily driver over the next few years now putting 40,000 miles a year on it (It's SoCal and I like to drive) needless to say I killed it. This time it was probably a combination of factors, my minimal maintenance, hard driving and a cheap rebuild. This time I had no money to fix it, so it sat another couple years.
