Ghost Clamp
I couldn't get the radiator hoses to stop leaking, sometimes it was worse than others. We had already put a screw clamp on the radiator end of the lower hose when we started it for the first time and I needed to do the same at the water pump but that wasn't going to fly for the upper hose. I first moved the Corbin clamp enough I could get a screw clamp on the end of the hose then I cut a piece of heat shrink sleaving to cover the clamp. With the sleaving shrunk to the clamp it was put around the hose with the screw tucked in under the hose. Once I had it tightened in place I painted what could be seen on the metal part black. It's hard to see unless you are looking for it. | |
