Brake Hoses & Ignition
I'm pretty sure the factory brake hoses were 3/16" and not 1/8", this is something that isn't listed on most part searches. I had to look at pictures posted of different manufactures hoses till I found ones that were 3/16". On the first pass on the engine compartment ten years ago I mounted the electronic ignition module under the battery tray but screw heads stuck up and I had to put spacers under battery. My solution was to use a couple flathead bolts and draw them into the tray creating a countersink hole. There were two sets of holes so I did both. To mount the module I had to use a large washer to get around the countersink. Paint was removed around all these mounting points and the tray mounting holes to insure a good ground for the module. Once installed the module is virtually impossible to see. The hoses on the car were on the car since the 70s. | |
