It's Painted (again)
After a couple weeks of blocking and sanding the car is ready for paint. Right away the car was rolled into the booth and masked with the help of a couple other students. The car was again cleaned and the paint mixed, the instructor setup the gun and made a couple passes before handing me the gun. With a little guidance on speed and distance I was on my own. After the base coats kicked off the clear was applied, and four hours after starting the car was done. The difference is instantly noticed. The car was left in the booth overnight and I picked the car up the next morning. The car was loaded up and taken home, I'm still in awe over the finish and it isn't even blocked out yet. | |
