Reflections This wasn't my first choice, I was looking for a 72 D-200 but the prices were 2-3 times as much. |

Introduction Recently my brother decided to move to Oregon with the move goes the use of his truck. I had planned on taking the class again in August and would need a truck to tow the car up there each week. The idea of just buying his F250 lasted just a few days and I set my sights on a vintage (1967-1975) Dodge D200 this way I do not have to deal with smog, payments, etc. The first one I was looking at was a 1969 "Big Block" in Cottonwood California for $850 Upon getting pictures I learned that it had an Oldsmobile 455 in it, on to number two. Number two was a 1970 D200 in Havasu City Arizona, this time a rear big block 383 automatic for $2500, the only problem with this one was the price. On to number three a 1968 in Riverside California for $800, Rust! At first I was just looking for D200 till I read that the Camper Specials were 3/4 ton trucks as well. Right away I located one in Oregon and was able to look at it while helping my brother move, deal made! Number five was the next in line, do not recall the details other than being in Madera California. | ![]() |
