Reflections Maybe in a few years I'll look back at this and reflect. |
BBQ For the last eight years (for me, even more for Ron) we have been trying to figure out the origins of the junction block installed on these cars by CHP. In a chance phone call Ron was about locating a block for a project not even CHP related (Ron use to work in the auto dealer parts business so people often check with him for parts locating), either way, it turns out the person needed it for a 1955 Buick. It turns out it is a standard part on those cars, now we know. Some time back the car developed an oil leak on the passenger side valve cover so I felt it was time to take care of it, when I pulled the valve cover I found the cover to have been heated pretty good at one point. I suspected the heat was the cause of the leak but didn't realize the damage to the cover. The metal was deformed and needed to be replaced, hey Ron, know of one? I checked in storage for the cover I knew I had, wrong side. | ||
