Final Details
When these cars were shipped to the CHP from Dodge there were a pair of trim in the trunk for the front doors. The idea was that when the cars were repainted the trim could be included. My car was not repainted at all so the trim was still there. The packages were well weathered and tattered so I thought why not reproduce them. For me it was simple, find a quality graphic scan it an build a picture that could be printed. The hardest part of this as finding a printer that could do the 42" long print in color, ultimately I was able to get them printed. A little double stick tape and actual trim inserted I had what appeared to original NOS trim Another item that I knew about but have been putting off was the rear window inside trim. The trim needed to be painted before it was installed, done and installed. A little tricky working around the deck lights but not a problem. | |
