Picture Perfect
To finalize the CHP agreement to display the graphics I needed to submit some pictures of the car to headquarters. The weather was perfect for taking pictures, just enough clouds to soften the lighting. I took the car to one of my go to places for pictures, out towards the beach and in a publicly accessible place within Vandenberg AFB. I was done with my pictures and in the process of swapping the plates when a base security vehicle rolled up and three guys got out, two contractors and one Air Force. They stopped about 30 feet away and as they approached I asked "curiosity or other?", they replied curiosity but I wasn't so sure, maybe it is just habit but their posture said other. We chatted and once I was ready to roll I excused myself and rolled out. | |
