More Paint!
Well we got all the panels in the booth, today was all about black. All four doors, both fenders the deck lid and hood were all arranged so you could circle them as needed. The rear doors were fully painted, the fenders just the outside, the hood and deck lid just the inside and all the black on the front doors. Much like the body multiple coats of black was applied to everything followed up with multiple coats of clear. One thing I did was mask off the original CHP unit number while the doors were being worked on and left the tape on for the black. Once the black was done I removed the tape and had the clear go over the number protecting it. That evening I collected up all the small parts and hardware and got them ready to go. | |
