Well this evening was like the last few, apply some filler sand it off prime, call it a night and repeat tomorrow. In a nutshell that was it and like the last few evenings rust was discovered. The bottom of both fenders will need to be repaired, probably about a 3" square each. Also there are some pinholes under the left taillight that need to be filled. The evening started off with pounding the crown out of the hood to better match the fender, the other side still needs to be done. October 17, 2012 Short evening means a short update. The hood and fender tops were stripped. Some more rust was found on the left fender top where a fender top turn signal use to be (replacement fender that was put on the car many moons ago). | |
