Reflections It might have been moot point but getting primer on it made me feel good and covered up an eyesore. |

Black and White No More
With the interior basically all cleaned up I felt it was time to finish it off and primer it along with the firewall. Even though the rust repair isn't done yet I thought that I might as well prime the full car. Overall the body is in good shape so I went over it thoroughly with a couple different grits. With the sanding done I got a good look at the lower quarters and could see some rust holes, looks like a small patch will take care of it. This is the update I had hopes of doing Friday but with class canceled I went with plan B, shot the primer in my garage. Not much to say other than I only used 1/2 a quart and it is only one coat, I'll probably put a second coat on the interior, firewall and jams and leave the rest for when the bodywork is done. I still need to clean up the tail panel and I take care of the other quarter when I do that. | |
