The trunk floor has multiple holes to fill and an overall bad surface, I felt replacing it all might be the easier way to go. A new panel was acquired off eBay and I received it today. Even at a glance I could see it wasn't well made, the groves were shallow and v shaped not a deeper u shape one. Placing the panel in the trunk quickly showed that the fit wasn't great and it didn't cover the areas that needed work. So the next work session I'll be looking at the floor more closely to see how bad it is and what it might take to gust fix it otherwise I'll be looking for a donor. | |
